The City of Humboldt, Tennessee began the planning process to expand Spangler Park in 2003 with the addition of six new baseball / softball fields. The resulting Master Plan for construction included one 320u2019 Babe Ruth field, one 200u2019 Softball field, one 150u2019 minor league field, two 200u2019 Little League fields, and one 125u2019 Tee ball field. All fields were laser graded and built to recognized standards for their respective type fields. The new fields also included high quality lighting systems, irrigation systems, dugouts, and bleachers. rnrnIn addition to the new baseball/softball fields, the sports complex was completed with approximately 200 parking spaces and a 4000 s.f. concessions/press box. This center piece of the new complex featured first floor concessions, restroom facilities, and second floor press box capabilities.rn
