TLM Associates was the lead engineer on the project providing design and technical assistance required during submittal of the multiple grant applications utilized to fund the projects, construction oversight and administration of the project through the grant process.rnrnThe Humboldt Downtown Enhancement project included the removal of a section of sidewalk behind the curb line and the installation of tree grates and pedestrian lighting in brick pavers to accent the character of downtown Humboldt. The project also included the installation of curb extensions at intersections to allow easier pedestrian crossing, ADA compliant ramps at intersections, and landscaping with accent lighting along three blocks of Main Street. rnrnThe project also included the replacement of traffic signals at three intersections. Cable mounted traffic signals were replaced with cast iron mast arm type poles to compliment the pedestrian lighting and character created by the other sight improvements.rn
