TLM Associates, Inc. was hired by the University of Tennessee at Martin to artificial design a new surface for Hardy M. Graham Stadium. A new turf surface was designed to replace a worn and higher maintenance grass field. The field improvements required a new under drain storm water system to allow the field to quickly disperse rainfall. The $750,000 project began in April of 2008 and was completed in July of the same year. During the design phase of this project, TLM Associates engineers and University of Tennessee Martin Athletics representatives studied in depth a variety of field turf options to determine the best fit for the UT Martin Skyhawks. The result was a state of the art turf system that can be found in much larger college campuses and NFL fields throughout the country.u000au000aSporting the University of Tennessee Skyhawks “Captain” logo at mid-field, the finished project was a great success for The University of Tennessee at Martin.
