Career Experience

Mr. Drumwright joined TLM Associates, Inc., in 1987 as a staff engineer. He has also worked as a project engineer, project manager and vice president, and is now a principal in the firm. During his tenure with TLM Associates, Inc. he has assisted dozens of owners in exceeding their expectations through design, project management and administration. Mr. Drumwright has personally designed a wide variety of civil engineering projects including: various airport, roadway, bridge, drainage, water plant, water distribution, sanitary sewer, pumping station, subdivision, commercial site and solid waste facilities.

Prior to joining TLM, Mr. Drumwright gained experience with design and construction surveying for roads, sewers and site development in Memphis, Tennessee.

He then spent several years working throughout the Southeastern U.S. evaluating sanitary sewer systems, performing sanitary sewer field studies, preparing sewer rehabilitation reports, designing sewer rehabilitation work and performing sanitary sewer rehabilitation.

Mr. Drumwright subsequently spent seven years in county government service in a large metropolitan area in the Southeast. During this period in his career, he was involved in management, operations, design and construction of wastewater treatment systems. He was instrumental in developing a major capital improvement program for the wastewater system.

As program manager of the capital improvement program, he was directly responsible for a $180 million budget, cash-flow analysis, scheduling, consultant selection and contract negotiation. He also provided significant input in the design and construction process. Mr. Drumwright’s background in government service gives him a unique understanding of the perspective of owners, especially governmental clients.
